Skiva - Mobile App Design Case Study

Skiva is a mobile app that helps pickleball players track their progress, manage gear, and connect with the community. Designed to be "the Strava of the racquet sports world," it serves as a comprehensive digital companion for players. Available for iOS and Android, the app has earned a 4.8-star rating from users.
My Role
I partnered with Jeff Otano, an experienced pickleball player and developer, to elevate Skiva's visual design and user experience. While Jeff built the core functionality, I helped:
- Refine UI patterns and create a cohesive brand identity
- Polish the interface for better usability
- Improve key features like stats tracking and gear management
- Establish a consistent visual language across the app
